remarkably small vintage MCM purse
Brass metal mesh outer shell, burgundy fabric inside- it is separating from the top where it’s sewn in- can easily be fixed by someone who is willing/knows how to do it.
“Whiting & Davis”, “Made in USA”, and “2920” are stamped on the insides of the clasp closure on both sides! Gold tone hardware and short handle that you can either use or tuck inside and not use. Aside of the liner separating from outer chain mesh shell, there is also assorted slight discoloration to the off white metal mesh. It’s a green color in some spots so I’m betting it’s oxidization from a damn environment for such a long time. Also I didn’t notice any missing but one single piece of the mesh plate is a silver tone metal and not the creamy off white. I believe the paint came off. See last pic. Dimensions also in pics.
