This is a gorgeous hand-carved vintage (c. 1960s) Dogon medicine box, also known as a pharmacopoeia box or cabinet, from Mali. The box is in splendid, undamaged condition with no issues.

These medicine boxes were traditionally used by shamans and traditional healers of the Dogon people to store medicinal and magical herbs, roots, and spices.
